The Prototype Sports Agency is a premier sports and entertainment agency representing current NFL players and draft eligible players. We also help amateur athletes secure name, image, and likeness opportunities. The Prototype is dedicated to providing top-notch representation and management to our clients, ensuring their success on and off the field.
What We Do
Contract Negotiation
Show me the money! It’s literally the million dollar topic that every player needs to feel comfortable with when selecting an agency. Contract negotiation is the bread and butter of the business and we have tons of experience in reviewing contracts and negotiating on behalf of our clients. We will work tirelessly to ensure that we maximize the earning opportunities for each client and aim for top dollar. Our data analysts study the historical contract data and current market trends position by position so we can advocate with fact based research to support our contract demands. Our goal is not to meet in the middle, but to set new contract benchmarks.
Community Service
The Prototype aspires to form relationships with high character clients that stand out in their communities. Summer camps, estate planning workshops, trash bash cleanup, and food drives are just a few ways that the Prototype has been engaged in the community. Holding a major role in a position of influence for our clients, it is a requirement for The Prototype to show that we care about the people and organizations that have supported us along the way in addition to any future supporters that will be rooting for our team along the way.
Marketing & Branding
It is our goal to use our network of brand sponsors and industry partnerships to maximize earning opportunities for our clients. Player endorsement opportunities are more robust than ever. While each client’s market for these opportunities is different, The Prototype is committed to the dedication and creative marketing strategies required to help our clients stand out and boost their own star power for a much larger audience than the traditional sports media outlets.
Lifestyle Management
80% of professional athletes exhaust their career earnings within 5 years of their career ending. We work with our clients to properly advise each client how to manage their income and also present options to diversify their portfolios during their playing careers as well as when it is time to pack it up and move on to the next phase.
TV & Entertainment
Our team currently works with film directors and producers behind the camera and is positioned to work with rising actors, actresses, and content creators to help secure opportunities on the big screen and social media.

One of the most important pieces to the agent athlete puzzle is ensuring the client is placed in the right environment and atmosphere while preparing for what will likely be a one-time opportunity to showcase their talents for NFL clubs and live out their professional dreams. The Prototype has access to the best trainers and facilities across the country.

Personalized Training Program
Each client is offered a tailored package, designed to focus on the exact drills they will be tested on at their college’s Pro Day and/or the NFL Combine. Position specific trainers are brought in to help players perfect techniques and reduce the margin for error when it is time to perform in front of NFL scouts and coaches.

Media and interview Prep
NFL organizations want players that can not only become a star on the field, but someone they would consider as a high character player…someone that is instinctive, but makes sound decisions in the process. The prototype provides media prep to help prepare clients to be knowledgeable and well-versed during interviews and written tests administered by NFL clubs and the media throughout the scouting process.
Michael Harris
CEO & FOUNDER
Michael Harris is a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association. Michael is a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, earning a Bachelors of Arts in Marketing and Management and a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Sports Management.
Prior to becoming an NFL agent, Michael began his sports career with the Houston Rockets as a top producing Ticket Sales Rep, selling season ticket packages, group packages, and suites to NBA games and major concerts at the Houston Toyota Center. After his time there, Mike became one of Houston’s top Realtors and New Home Sales specialists, helping hundreds of families purchase or sell properties in Texas.
